PROGRAM:

Scott introduced today's speaker, Monica Marshall of Mahana Magic Foundation.

Their mission is to provide support to children during and after their parents or caregiver's experience with cancer, providing opportunities designed to build confidence and lesson fears.

The late Greg Couture created the foundation after he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He saw how his two daughters needed an outlet to understand and express their emotions. The name Mahana is a combination of the girls names, Makena and Hana.

The foundation is 100% donor funded.  www.mahanamagic.org for more information.
