"T"- Russ Carpenter passed away last week. Russ was a former Rotarian

 

Geoff-

Circulated list of donors to our Auction last year for members to sign up to solicit this years. Also any new donors are also needed. Handed out new brochures.

Web site is open for viewing but not bidding.

 

Maureen-

March 18 is club assembly at Rosies and we will put together gift baskets for residents in Porter Nursing Home.

Also the club raised $250 from club members along with $550 voted on last week for student from Vergennes going to Germany on exchange. Vegennes club also to contributed

 

"T"- Today Paul Horn was inducted as our newest member. "T" gave a brief history of Rotary and what we do. Welcome Paul as our newest member!

 

HAPPY DOLLARS:

 

Nancy-Remembered Russ carpenter as a prominent member of the agricultural  community and good citizen.

Scott-Thanked Maureen and Tim for a well run CACO meeting. Narrowing down over $140,000 in requests to our budgeted amount of $45000.

David- Thanks to ACSD volunteers for all the work they do for the communities.

John Barstow- happy to be involved on the CACO committee

Max- happy to have Linda and Paul as members. Another way to share rides and a reason to set the alarm.

PROGRAM:

Scott introduced today's speaker, Irene Poole. Irene is the Executive Director of Vermont Families in Transition( VFIT). VFIT provides a safe meeting place for families in conflict to have supervised visitation, monitored exchanges, family mediation, parenting classes and domestic violence classes.

 Melissa Mitchell, a client of VFIT, told us of her positive experiences using their services.
