CACO grant list was sent via email earlier in the week. Today we will discuss. Maureen answered questions on the proposed recipients of grants totaling $47855.00 to area organizations. Club approved list and we will vote on next week.

 

District Grant for this year, 2019-2020 is the Tot Lot playground. The components will be ordered and will be installed early summer.

 

Maureen:

 

District Grant proposed for Rotary year 2020-2021, is to United Way. Grant application will be submitted by Friday to Rotary International

.

 

Nancy:

 

Flag project needs more help to cover routes safely. Please contact Nancy to help in this major fund raiser.

 

Buzz:

 

Will be sending sign up sheet via email to work on weeding under trees in our project at the Rec. park.

 

Happy Dollars:

 

Betsy noted that Happy Dollars collections are on the  honor system. Polio Plus and raffle monies also can be submitted to club on a voluntary basis.

Happy Dollars from Spence, Gary, David, Cari and Liz.

 

David suggested and others agreed that we could invite, via zoom, guests and guest speakers. This could open up our meetings to international club members and speakers. David will work with Scott on scheduling.
