MINUTES OF JULY 8, 2020 meeting:

Nancy Malcolm from Neighbors Together spoke about the efforts of this coalition to mitigate the negative effects of construction in downtown Middlebury. These efforts recently include the #loveMiddlebury campaign, the Pig Out Middlebury contest to boost restaurant sales, the Hidden Gems program for kids, Open Air Markets, the Apron Brigade (group of downtown volunteers), The Ilsley Library's Story Walk, the Shuttlebury shuttle (free shuttle around Middlebury), and the Town Hall Theater bridges fundraiser.

Paul Horn followed Nancy Malcolm and asked for volunteers to help with painting footsteps to aid pedestrians trying to shop in the downtown area. They are looking to recruit two teams of four volunteers to start at 8 am on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11 (weather permitting). To volunteer, please reach out to Paul Horn via email at paulhorn@comcast.net, or contact Maureen.
